Synopsis of The Tale of the Outcasts manga:

At the end of the 19th century, two lonely beings live each on their own in a corner of London, the teeming capital of the immense British empire.

One is a devil, who has come back from everything, who no longer expects anything from life; the other is a little orphan girl, cheerful despite the terrible vicissitudes of life.
Then one day, their paths cross and these two lonely people decide to link their destinies and go on an adventure...
